Directions:
- Keep frozen until ready to use.
- When ready to use, thaw in refrigerator until paste is soft. Gently massage cone if needed to remix liquid back into paste. You also can thaw cone in a cup of hot (not boiling!) water. DO NOT HEAT IN MICROWAVE OR ON STOVETOP.
- Snip a TINY bit off the end of the cone and test by gently pressing the cone. If paste does not flow smoothly with gentle pressure, cut a tiny bit more off.
- Apply to skin in desired design. Please note that henna stains the best on the hands and feet, and moderately well on the upper forearms and ankles. Softer, cooler skin on the trunk, upper legs, upper arms, back and tummy will stain only moderately to lightly. Not recommended for face or neck.
- Seal end of cone with clear tape to prevent leakage.
- Refrigerate leftover paste for up to a week or freeze for up to six months.
- Allow paste to dry completely.
- Gently flake or peel paste off when dry. DO NOT RINSE OFF WITH WATER.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to water for at least eight hours.
- Design will change from bright orange to red/brown over 24 to 72 hours.
- Stain will last anywhere from 5 to 14 days. To preserve stain, avoid prolonged bathing or swimming, chlorinated water, scrubs and harsh detergents.
Please note that wet paste will stain clothing, carpet, skin, fingernails and hair. It also can stain some hard surfaces such as plastic and silicone. Take precautions to avoid messes.
