These holiday pretties are simple, non-toxic, removable and safe for kids age 3 and up!

All it involves is applying a stencil, then a bit of acrylic-based body glue, a sprinkle of glitter, and voila! A glittery bit of body art that will last anywhere from 2 to 5 days.

A Henna Party: A Good Idea for Children?

Image by VistaprintIf a parent asked me if a henna party would be a good idea for their child, my answer would be "probably not." In this blog post, I'll answer why and give parents some good alternatives to traditional henna.

Henna - creating decorations on the skin with a paste made from the henna plant (lawsonia inermis) - has been used since the beginning of time and its safety record is unparalleled. In traditional cultures, it is often used on children, even infants, without incident.
